Event Policy

1. Scope & Applicability

This Event Policy governs member participation, behavior, and content capture during all official Lyra Social Group organized functions, including live streams, community game nights, VRChat meetups, and voice hub gatherings.

2. Event Participation & Conduct

  • Compliance with Directives: Attendance in any community event implies full agreement to adhere to both our core Community Guidelines (community/guidelines.md) and any event-specific rules established by lead event hosts or designated staff.
  • Disruptive Behavior: Actions intended to derail, crash, or disrupt an active event—such as using performance-heavy/crasher avatars in VRChat, stream sniping, ear-rape audio, or intentional lobby flooding—will result in immediate expulsion from the instance and potential moderation sanctions.
  • Capacity & Access Tiers: Access to certain high-capacity or sensitive events may be governed by our Verification Policy (community/verification.md) or restricted to specific community roles.

3. Recording, Streaming & Broadcast Consent

  • Media Production: Official events may be captured, recorded, or broadcast live across official digital channels and streaming platforms (such as Twitch, YouTube, or TikTok).
  • Implied Consent: By joining an event voice channel, VRChat instance, or game lobby designated as an active broadcast space, you acknowledge and consent to your display name, voice, avatar representation, and in-game actions being recorded or broadcast publicly.
  • Personal Media Creation: Community members and third-party creators wishing to stream or record official Lyra Social Group events must adhere to event host guidelines and avoid capturing private or staff-only communications.

4. Host Discretion & Emergency Enforcement

  • Event leads and moderation staff reserve the right to remove any participant from an ongoing event instance without prior notice if their presence threatens the stability, compliance, or enjoyment of the event.
